Thread: EVOO and wash with co = heaven

Default EVOO and wash with co = heaven

I was fed up with coconut oil since it just gave me too much volume, frizzy poffy hair.

I tried EVOO and applied coneless conditioner for 4-5 min on dry hair and washed out... my hair was never like this all soft, shinny , no frizz, less volume straight hair from 2c. I m not using shampoo these days i think the main culprit was shampoo and coconut oil. I m a big fan of EVOO for life now

This is the second time I've read about this. I love olive oil myself of all the oils I've tried, and I'm going to have to try this.

How much olive oil did you use exactly? Just a little on your ends?

I apply around 2-3 tbs of olive oil which actually saturates my hair.

Its so funny how differently peoples hair reacts to different oils! Haha

If I use EVOO at all, I look like I shoved my head in a bucket of oil and left it that way. I rarely use it for a deep leave in treatment, and follow with a nice shampooing.
Coconut Oil on the other hand feels much more like my natural Sebum and helps smooth out my length.

Just goes to show that what works for one person, may very well work terribly for others.
