Red Rajasthani (hennasooq)- has anyone tried it?

Hi all!

Henna Sooq has a new batch of raj. that they're calling "red raj." for it's high lawsone content of 3.22%- has anyone tried it?

I've heard raj. henna gives a more orange/copper tone, so I was wondering if this one gives the gorgeous red that it promises? Does it go redder than Yemeni?

You can only preorder it right now. It won't ship until around Dec 7th....

I've pre-ordered so I hope it is as red as possible, but I dont mind the orange tones so I guess I will be happy wither way considering the price^^

Rajasthani does not give orange ones, they are reddish. I use Rajasthani exclusively.

I'm tempted to order the new batch, but my hair is so saturated now that I do roots only, and I have enough henna to get me through 2012

This is hennasooq's Raj on medium brown hair. I do roots only so it's just one layer.

ETA: I convinced that blonde guy on the left to go CO a couple months ago ^_^

ETA2: OMG Look at that pony's hair! I was so jealous. What a bad-a$$ pony.

I'm using Rajasthani(2010) in glosses over bleached hair. First app was orange, 2nd was copper orange with red rose tones in outdoor shade. I'm now doing my 3rd gloss. I haven't even used a full 100g yet added up so even 2010 crop packs a potent punch.

I REALLY want henna and was going nuts waiting for the Yemeni to come in. So I've (pre-)ordered the Red Raj. I'll post pics of what it does to my "virgin medium brown with a moderate amount of silver" hair as soon as it shows up!

And BTW Thank you so much for this post. If not, I wouldnt have known today is cyber monday sale. Holy cow, I feel like I got the deal of a century even though I don't need more henna!

$13 for 200g red raj & 100g cassia shipped?! I didnt want such high % dye, but I figure the deal makes it worth. If I could have swung more cash this week I wouldve ordered a LOT more.
