There, I have put it in print. No matter who says I can't have long hair, I am here to say I can. It is not about it being long but about it being me. Thanks to all of you I have made that decision. The rest of my life will get better and I will get to where I want to be. Inch by inch.

Congratulations and yes, that's awesome to see you make a declaration here on the board!! Somehow that helps with solidifying your commitment, and of course you know we're all here rooting for you!! After various random cuts myself, from BSL to pixie and back again, and so forth over the last 30 + years, I made that same (well, almost that same) declaration myself. And was thrilled to find this forum where I can get inspiration and support, and be of support to others on the same journey!
