Swap Board - payment problem

Hi,
I need help please.
I know the Swap Board is based on trust only. But what can I do when a person does not pay for an item which has already been sent out and what if that person does not answer any PMs so I cannot find out what is happening?
I am a bit worried because it never happened to me before in any other of the hair forums where I already bought and sold items on a regular basis.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Do not send out an item without being paid for it first.

Yes, afterwards I feel that would have been clever. But now it's too late.

So that doesn't solve my current problem.
I read in this other thread about reasons for being banned that this (mis)behaviour is called "swaplifting". At least I learned a new English word.

What a shame

As a policy, I never sent anything out until a payment clears. This ensures that those who have less than honorable intentions don't waste your time. I do hope things work out in the long run for you.

Have you contacted the mods?

Maybe something has happened and the buyer can't contact you right now.

That would be a different case then but I don't think this is the case here as the person in question logged in the last time at around 3 today. Also, I received other PMs from other members in the last few days which means there is no problem with my PM box.

Hm, I will wait until Wednesday and then contact a mod.
Still a shame though.

I had that same problem in reverse. I paid someone but they didn't send the item for two weeks. It turned up in the end though.

I hope you get paid.

I know the mods stay out of swap stuff, but perhaps the member in question has been temp banned and isn't able to access LHC or something. At least they may be able to give you some (vague) information if that's the case and the person is not able to access their PMs.

Did you check to see when the last time this person logged into LHC?
