Benefits of tea tree oil?

Bought some tea tree oil on account of us having lice, to use in our regular shampoo in between treatments. But given that the box says it only takes 2 treatments to cure the infestation, we'll be fine a week from now! And I'll still have all this lovely smelling tea tree oil! What else can it be used for?

It's a great antifungal and antibacterial oil, so it's good on cuts, scrapes, and stinky feet

I also use it in the dryer along with some lavender EO. I put some on my wool dryer balls and let it make my laundry smell nice.

I also use it (a little diluted) on acne. It helps clear it up faster.

You can use it in conditioner and a couple of drops in a bigger oil like coconut oil for example does a good scalp treatment. It's also good in skin treatments too, tto has tons of uses.

ETA: in the above threads, people often mention that they found it drying for both hair and skin. It shouldn't be used pure without a carrier or in large quantities at a time. YMMV, and read up and test before doing anything extensive. You could be sensitive to it, just as you could find it works wonderfully for you.

i use tea tree oil on acne spots..works wonders!
