Definitely care about both, but probably care a bit more about the health. Would hate to have damaged looking hair.

this is my first poll - I am interested in hear what is the MOST important to you about your hair - length or health? If you have something else that is the MOST important to you, please share it with us?
I thought at first that length was the most important for me, but as my ends kept snapping and breaking, and the splits made my curls frizzy instead of nice and defined, I have decided that I would actually rather had SHORTER hair that is healthy, and grow it out from there, instead of babying it (and forgetting to baby it) and trimming damage off slowly as it grows.
I would love to hear from you about what motivates YOU the most regarding your hair. So much lovely hair, so many different ways of caring for it. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!

If it's healthy, a nice length is inevitable.
I have been debating this very subject right now. I really love both length and health, but now sure if both are possible for me right now.
Enjoyed chin length for awhile but my hair sticks are calling!
................................Time to Grow!.
I put length because although both are incredibly important to me I currently (for the first time in years) have very healthy hair. It is at waist length which is the longest I've ever had so I am rather into finding out how long I can grow it.
Growing old DISgracefully!
Health wins, hands down, for me. I wouldn't like my hair to be super short, but since it grows I would definitely take short over badly damaged.

Health definitely. I want long hair, but I don't want damaged long hair.
Colour is most important for me, next comes health and then length. My hair is TB now so I can afford so sacrifice a bit of length if my ends become damaged.
As much as I would hate having to chop off my hair at the moment, I would not keep damaged-looking hair. I would probably microtrim it until all the damage was gone.
Not that it is a concern at the moment: I will stay away from the siscors for as long as I can help it (apart from the occasional S&D).
Cheese. It's a bit of both for me, neither one wins out immediately over the other. I suspect when I reach a length I'm happy to maintain, health will be the clear winner.
