It's not as well defined as the original, probably cos I didn't do all the heat styling and blowfrying and hair spray, but I love it like this. And I got complimented on it twice!

Thanks for all of the compliments ya'll! As for the hair toys, they were a gift from my dd who beaded them. So I got to use them for a change, instead of them staying in my hair toy box all lonely!

I am going to be around the house so how about another challenge?
It is too cold to go out

So, here is my high ponytail with 8 small braids.

I'm very uncomfortable with high ponys, this must be the highest I've ever had for more than a few minutes.

And seeing the amazing 6-braid-braids here, I couldn't resist trying to make one with my 8 braids.

And then I folded it, which turned out to be a very nice updo.

I can take a new challenge now.

The bun looks great, SolSara, but it must have taken you forever to braid all the braids and such. I admire your patience!

Charli: Actually, it didn't take that long. 10 minutes tops for the braids and another 5 for the big braid. I don't have that much hair yet and it's still easy to braid without the strands getting tangled. It is much harder with longer hair, I suppose...

But your updo is gorgeous!

No wonder you got compliments!
