Double Rose Buns... I can't seem to keep the coil smooth and get it to stay in place. And doing TWO of them, that are symmetrical? Ha!

Then getting the sticks straight?

This thread wasn't here before, and sounds interesting! Especially as hair has been downright ignored the last few months.

Not sure I'd be good at giving ideas of things to do, though. I stopped really trying 'new' things not long after joining here, as often I had a bit much left over, and so that's a bit limited.

But I'll try just about anything.

So, how to join?

Sorry - I shouldn't have given you such a difficult task! How about the Single Rose Bun then instead of the Double Rose Bun?

Thank you! I've been losing my mind trying to get these things to stay in place! lol I'm still not positive on what's called what, but I hope this is a rose bun.

If it isn't, please correct me. I hate being so updo challenged. Hopefully y'all can cure me of this wanting.

It will be so cool to go home to see my mom in February and be able to show off my new 'do collection while I'm there. I haven't been home in two years and she's anxious to see my hair so long.

And thanks to these challenges (and this thread and all of you!), I'll have a new 'do for each day I'm there!

She's already talking about what I will wear to Church and how I'll wear my hair. lol
