I can't do the woven bun either. My layers are making it impossible to wrap, and I can't seem to bobby pin my ends down. Very frustrating.

Well, I'm up for another style.
For kicks how about two banded ponytails (see caterpillar) french style down the back of your head and coming together into one banded ponytail at the bottom? That should be layer friendly.

Aw, I'm sorry the woven bun didn't work out for you, Vitalai. At least it's something to look forward to, when your layers have grown a bit longer.

Thanks for your feedback on the dutch braid, everyone! I'm so glad I was able to do it.

Gumball your pony looks very cute.

Elistariel your do was much better than my dos, so

joyfulmom4 ,your scarf braided sock bun was very good

SolSara your do was something new to me ,so I really liked it.(And guess what I think I know now what to 'do' on my upcomming anniversary )

Teazel ,I loved your neat braid. Good job.

I liked everybody's style . Anyone wants to give me a challange ,which is not really a challange? I mean something easy.

Isabelle, what about a Retro Twist?
    Solsara, great style!
Thanks for the idea, this hairdo looks lovely. I need to get bobby pins first, though Haven't got any!
Teazel, I love your braid... amazing long braid! Yes, I'll be taking pics next time I make a bunned French braid

I forgot to say how much I admired your braided bow, SolSara. It reminds me of corn dollies... not that I'm comparing your hair to straw, in any way! but the colour is so warmly autumnal.

Oh, and I'm up for another challenge.
From Hip to Ankle and now back to Hip again.

Both of these are pretty Mira-chan. I like the hairtoys too.

This style is very secure. I'll try a variation of it for when I play tennis, but will go out to buy more toned down or plain hairties. I've misplaced and lost many of my hairties, so I didn't have any matching ones! The colors are a bit too funky for me.

I'm up for another style, too. I'm having a bit of a brain fart at the moment and can't think of any new style challenges.

    joyfulmom4 and Vitalai thank you!

Vitalai, dutch braid only the front 1/4th of your hair across, like a headband.

Hey, that's cute! And I *like* the multi-colored hairbands.

Can you do french braids? I used to be able to do those with shorter, layered hair if I made two. I think they look great with the ends tucked under. Care to try?

I could use a style assignment too.
