Aha! So you got it! I went back for it and it was gone. :wail:
Thanks for saving my pocketbook and of course - pics! :D

I love opals. And, I hate to say it, I prefer the lab-created ones. :blushing:
That's going to be a gorgeous stick either way, Neoma!
He's really incredible to work with!

I am getting the design that melikai posted, with the inlays on both sides, wood will be blackwood with mother of pearl inlay:cheese:
Oooo that will be lovely - that was actually my other possible choice!

Thank you, little_acorn. :flower: He has one on his site right now that is exactly like the one he's making for me, only half an inch longer. Same wood, same inlay. It's stunning.
He said that he hopes to list it tomorrow.:cheese: Wow, talk about fast!

Thank you, melikai. :flowers: I really am impressed by his customer service.
I have to say, most of the hair toy makers that I've dealt with over the years have had incredible customer service and seem to be genuinely nice people.

Mine! Mine! Alllll Minnnnneee!!!!
Doug is really amazing. It wasn't exactly what I wanted at first, and I was kind of worried it wouldn't get there, or that he would just refuse to change it as much as it needed to be modified in order to be right, but he managed to figure out what I was trying to say and absolutely nailed it!!! He was soooo nice about changing it even though it was finished, and now it is EXACTLY what I wanted. SO pretty!!!! YAY. :D
I am a total convert. :)

Ohhhhh... Moonstone. Somehow I missed this suggestion yesterday.
If I ask him to make a black stick for me, maybe I'll ask about moonstone. I have several pieces of rainbow moonstone jewelry. I love it.
