Pfffff no decent yarn to be found in this little village.
But I did find sites which sell the yarn you used dfotw!
It's called nooodle, hoooked or zpagetti. (is it the same?)("bandjesgaren")
So i might order online.

Wow, this is an awesome thread!! All of these are soo pretty :cloud9:
I have a question though -- has anyone used "sparkly" yarn yet? (Yarn with metallic threads in it) I'm not sure if I missed it or not. I have some sparkly yarn that I'm planning to make into a paranda but I don't know if it's a recipe for a tangley mess or not :o.
I just found a tutorial for making yarn out of old tee shirts, and it made me think of this thread.

That tee shirt yarn is supercool-
I'm definitely going to try a paranda with it,
Seems like it would be gentle and would hide my thick ends.
WOW I love the T-shirt yarn idea!
Going to look for some spaghetti yarn today now that I have a better idea what to look for.
And DFOTW: HOLY WOW! I love your green and orange and B&W new ones! I am literally hair-drooling over here!
ohhhh.. I like the vanilla flavored one..
Maybe a reef knot?
