Well, the place I live in is known as a "Nursing Home Town". Very dinky, with about 3,000 obese, crippled people. I've seen a few women here and there with waist length hair or hip length, but I think that the "average" for long hair here is between shoulder length and mid-back.
In denmark, zealand. I would say apl-bsl. Longer than that is rare.
At my Uni in Melbourne it seems my hair length is the average, which is BSL-Mid back. Lots of people with waist length hair, and I don't think this is a melbourne thing, seems just the area my uni is in.
Oklahoma city here...short, short, short :( LHC is my main inspiration. Sometimes I'll see a woman with very long hair but rarely.
Younge girls are usually BSL or a little longer. Older women are usually less than BSL. Once in a while you'll see someone with TBL.
On my college campus, average is probably (maybe a little past) Shoulder-BSL. Although, it is rather common to see girls with waist length hair, and sometimes even longer. Just on my section of my floor (around 30-ish people), there is a girl with at least waist length hair and another girl with her hair around hip or maybe tailbone. And just today I saw a girl in my building with around classic length relaxed hair in micro braids. So long hair as well as around shoulder length are both pretty common.
Here in western Canada:
BSL seems to be reigning champ'.
Hair anywhere between APL and hip is not unusual though.
Hip length is a little more uncommon (the vast majority is East Indian women who have hair that long), but then so are pixie to chin lengths, strangely enough.
At the college campus where I'm on, the trend is very short hair- I have some of the longest hair, and mine is barely past shoulder!
Here in North of England - If most girls with longer hair tend to be extentions, and anything else apl or bsl i'd say is pretty average. Rarely wl or tbl.
