:cheer::happydance::joy:I successfully made a figure-8 bun today! The ends stayed put!
I left my hair down after washing today and realized that my bangs have enough weight to hold down my cowlick. I cannot tell you how much I despise this cowlick.
When I braid my hair it hangs over my shoulder and when I look down I can see the end of my braid!!!:happydance:
I have noticed that my shoulder length hair doesn't get caught in my collar anymore.
I'm officially at chin length!! My hair curls up a bit in the ends though so it's not truly chin length yet (or it doesn't feel that way), but when I pull it straight it actually is longer than chin length! YAY!
This was my original goal when I came here, so it's actually a bit more than a mini milestone but still. Since it looks shorter when I just leave it alone, I feel weird calling it chin length :P
My hair reaches the top of bsl in the shower! Grow, grow, grow! :D
Since I officially started growing my hair out in October, I have been keeping it clipped up. When I first started this, the only thing that stuck out of the top of the clip was a stub of hair about an inch long. This morning when I put it up this way, there is at least three inches out of the top of the clip and it sits nicely covering the top half of the clip! I am happy, it shows that my hair has really grown a lot since October!!!
After I put off growing my hair due to DH coming home and moving and lots of other stressful things, I can finally say that my hair is growing again because I can braid it and put it over my shoulder and it stays!!
I was reaching up to put something away in a high cupboard just now and my top rode up a little as I was raising my arms and I could feel my hair brushing my back where my skin was exposed! I know I was tilting my head back at the time but this is the first time something like this has happened :happydance:
I reach the top of BSL, and my shaved bit at the front is very close to having grown long enough to be able to fit into a secure twist
