I'm looking at Kardoune as a healthy heatless way to straighten hair, but the weave doesn't seem totally smooth, so I'm worried about friction damage. It's usually made with silk or cotton. Maybe I could try silk (material) satin (weave) ribbons, but maybe that will be too smooth to hold my hair at night. Does anyone have experience with this?
