When you make a milestone, how do you wear your hair?
Voted "dry & straight"; to be fair, I don't modify my texture to measure, I just pull a strand (the longest one) taught and measure that relative to the milestone in question. That's how I've always done it.
I figure, it's the hair that I have, and the "real" length is loose & relaxed.
I know wet can "add" a bit of length to it, so I don't do that.
Dry and natural meaning that I wash and dry it as I usually would. This length is very close to stretched length.
Dry and straight. I always brush my waves out and can attain a 1c look. It is not always the same length, so I call a milestone when I'm past it with brushed out, almost straight, dry hair.
I voted for actual length (wet and straight) rather than perceived length (style dependant)
Dry and natural for me personally since that's how you'd see my hair most of the time.
Dry and straight for me, natrual can change depending on style and texture of your hair so comparisons aren't very consistent
Wavy hair means to get close to comparable results, wet and pulled straight.
Dry and pulled straight for the most consistent results.
