Types of Infractions

For everyone's reference, here is a list of the defined types of Infraction that exist here on TLHC. Hopefully, none of you will never need to become familiar with these! :flower:

By default, Infractions are set for 90 days at which time they will expire. However, the TLHC Moderation Team may adjust the Infraction time period to another value as deemed appropriate for a situation.

Abuse of Tags System (Minor) - (1 pt)
Please, a) keep tags clean and non-insulting, and b) keep the silly tags restricted to the meets boards. For other boards, make the tags as helpful and informative as possible.

Editing/Removing Entire Messages (Minor) - (1 pt)

Miscellaneous Minor Offenses for Non-Post-Related Issues - (1 pt)
Non-post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Minor offenses.

Miscellaneous Minor Offenses for Post-Related Issues - (1 pt)
Post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Minor offenses.

Abuse of Tags System (Major) - (2 pts)

Editing/Removing Entire Messages (Major) - (2 pts)
Removing entire messages is against the Community Guidelines.

Inflammatory Messages - (2 pts)
Messages posted with disregard to maintaining a calm and cool environment. Mild to moderate disrespect falls into this category. "Egging on" or "having the last word" may be an example of this.

Flaming - (3 pts)
Messages posted with blatant disregard to another's feelings and/or the calm community atmosphere. Name calling or name insinuations fall into this category. Moderate to severe offenses.

Inappropriate Use of Profile - (3 pts)
Anything located in the profile, avatar, or signature that is inappropriate for this board.

Member Spamming - (3 pts)
Messages posted by a community member with the intent of drawing members away from the community or profiting from the members of the community.

Non-post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Moderate offenses.

Miscellaneous Moderate Offenses for Post-Related Issues - (3 pts)
Post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Moderate offenses.

Miscellaneous Severe Offenses for Non-Post-Related Issues - (6 pts)
Non-post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Severe offenses.

Miscellaneous Severe Offenses for Post-Related Issues - (6 pts)
Post-related warnings that don't fit into any other description. Severe offenses.

Non-Member Spamming - (12 pts)
Messages posted by a person who has signed up for the sole purpose of advertising their service or product on the boards.


So, what happens when you receive one or more Infractions?

You will receive a PM informing you of your Infraction and explaining the reason(s) why you have received this Infraction. If you accumulate enough Infraction Points, you may become temporarily or permanently Banned.

6 Points or 3 Infractions - Temporary 2 Week Ban
12 Points - Permanent Lifetime Ban
