So I can't claim this as my own, but it is pretty darn cute.

Here is the link to the original tutorial: http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/tut...raid-updo.html

Here is my version:

I think it looks better on lighter hair but I still love it on me! It's a cute and easy way to make an up do. This was taken after 10 hours as well so it lasts!

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some advice. My hair is super frizzy (living in SFL doesn't help) and I would love to know what could I do to tame it/ prevent it.
Also, I noticed that every time I wash my hair (it doesn't matter the products and for how long I rinse) I always have white bits/residue at the roots. The more I touch the scalp, the more they will show.

The products I use (alternating) are: VO5 Kiwilime clarifying shampoo and conditioner, VO5 passion fruit cond, bain de terre shampoo, suave moroccan shine mask, coconut oil, anti frizz finishing cream (cannot remember the brand at the moment)

Note I don't use all of the above at the same time. My routine is shampoo -Cond - oil or finishing cream or shine mask ...

Thanks for recommending either products/routine to help with the frizz and whatever that white thing on my scalp after I wash my hair is.

:D

What should you do if you forget to pay a tip at a salon? (first visit)

I went to a salon my friends recommended me to today. I made an appointment specifically with the salon owner, and she said they charge $35 for a cut. I just had a very simple trim today, so she only charged me $10 because it only took her like two minutes total. I was in a rush because someone was waiting for me to get home, and I completely FORGOT to tip her, and I feel awful about it; I don't want to come across as rude. I'm usually a very generous tipper. It was my first time visiting, so I hope I don't receive bad service in the future.

The next time I visit, should I just tip double?

I did read that supposedly in some states and "Dear Abby" says that you shouldn't tip the salon owner. Then some websites say that you should. I normally would have anyway, but was just wondering what everyone else thinks.

I can't find anything on here about this, or if there is, I'm terrible at searching. I wanted to know if anyone's hair feels flat when they air dry their hair. I read some places, people say their hair has more volume, less split ends etc. I tried air drying mine, and I get these awful waves in the front of my hair and it looks terrible when I wear it down. I'd like to not blow dry much or as much. I just try to blow dry more at my roots and the parts that get wavy in the front of my hair and I'm trying to grow my hair longer than it is. Anyone like their hair better when it air dries?
