Please note that its not necessarily true. Unless there's been some change in the past few years to the guidelines. I'm in the US so maybe other countries have different guiudelines too.

But as far as I'm aware there is a difference between food labeling and product labeling when it comes to the order in the ingredients list.
Some companies may have them in the right order anyway.
