View Full Version : How to keep a hair style properly in place with a natural product?

So far, putting in loads of aloe vera helps a lot, but where I live it's insanely windy. For some reason outside my building there is a permanent wind going on and not avoidable.

What else could work and really fix a style into place? (I hate hair spray, makes me ill)

The advantage of this, http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showpost.php?p=1693197&postcount=4790 is that should it build-up and it is possible (honey residue), it would take a while to do that and it should be easily removed with shampoo.

An even simpler way is to take a big (as in huge) silk scarf and tuck it into a coat and create a hood you can raise, with your hair inside it, and hold in place while going in and out.

Wind like that is from building construction creating a `wind tunnel`. There are a few places like that in Toronto.
