Since I did a big cut on my hair and stopped lightening it with boxed hair dye my hair is too dark and cold for my skin color, it's making me look old and tired. I would like some tips on how to go about adding some warm natural highlight's, I have some honey lightener soaking right now.

Other than Honey Lightening (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=61) the only other natural way I can think of is Cinnamon (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=2125) and Lemon juice (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=20057)+sunlight (the lemon can dry out your hair though). Good luck! :D

Other than honey, I know lemon can be lightening, but you might want to use it sparingly, as I think it dries out your hair.

Cassia also gives gold tones, from what I understand, but I don't know how effective it would be on your hair, depending on how dark it is.

I hope that helps! :flower:

THanks, I sprayed some honey lightener on with a spray bottle. I'll wash it out tonight and see if it works.

You would have to repeat the treatment before you see any difference. BTW cardamom has more peroxide than cinnamon.
