View Full Version : I did something nice with my ultra-short hair!!

It's ultra short so I thought I'd share it with everyone. I hope no one minds!
It just an elastic hairband which I pinned in then hairsprayed a bit, and kinda upside down hairsprayed behind for more volume....but it makes so much difference to my self-esteem.

This looks absolutely adorable! I had a very similar haircut just a few years ago but it never looked that cute!

Aww thanks! It'll look even better when the fringe is a wee bit longer so it doesn't look like such a straight line...but for now, woo!

Thanks all. Yeah I think I'm gonna stick with this until I get a bit more length up front...though not sure if I'll do the hairband thing apart from special occasions!

Very cute. I find instead of hairspray, if I add one spoon on sea salt into ten ounces of water in a spray bottle and spray just at the roots, I can get a lot of volume.

Thanks all! I will try the salt/water combo.
My shirt isn't a shirt! It's a dress, and I'm kinda polka dot mad too.

On another note...my boyfriend noticed my hair and said it looks lovely :)

Lucky you! I really don't like my natural hair colour (then again, I'm glad I can henna it and that it's light enough to make it red :P). Also, do you have a tattoo behind an ear or am I seeing things that aren't there? :o

You know, this is random, but by seeing your avatar.. I actually think you would look really good with short hair! It really looks like you have short hair in that picture.. I think you'd look like a modern Twiggy :D

(Not saying you should chop it off, of course!!)
