I have naturally dark blonde hair that recently chemically dyed deep rich auburn red, almost the color of dark red blood. Well, I really loved that color but now it has faded to a boring brownish orangey medium red. I don't hate it but, loved when it was really vibrant and dramatic and dark. I want to color with henna but feel it wont be as reddish and will be more orangey. I have never used henna so don't know what to expect. Also I would love a dark chocolate cherry color, but don 't know how it would look on me, I have very pale skin, so does indigo fade after awhile or is it completely stuck. What ratio would I use to get dark chocolate burgundy tones, 25/75 or higher, because I just really don't want to end up with medium brown hair, it would be the opposite of my intention for a dramatic change. And I really don't want black hair. Also could I use the same mix for my eyebrows? I am planning to order from henna sooq, they were the cheapest I found that seemed to have good quality, can anyone recommend another brand that has good quality and not too expensive. I was thinking I would get 500 grams of henna and 400 of indigo, that way I would have enough to do pretty much any color on my bra strap length hair. Thanks so much for any help, I know it is a lot of questions.

www.hennaforhair.com has a ton of information on starting colors and what to expect with different mixes but the only way to really tell is to strand test your own hair. Good luck, I LOVE hendigo (50/50 henna and indigo) but my hair was brown to begin with. Good luck!

For dark brown I believe the ratio is 1 part henna, 3 parts indigo. HennaForHair (http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/index.html) has a bunch of mixes just scroll down from the link I gave you and look to the right for brunette recipes. Good luck! :D

ETA: They also have brunette kits here (http://www.mehandi.com/shop/brunette/index.html) and here (http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/haircare/henna-hair-dyes/).
