View Full Version : henna-boy website?

Just wondering if anyone gets their henna from there? I'm always wary about websites being active and reliable, especially when the bottom of the page says 'copyright 2000-2008' Also, I know I want a BAQ henna, but there are quite a few different types available on the website and I can't decide which to go for. I'm wanting to use it as a gloss if that has any effect on the type :) Thanks in advance for any help!

I know sometime ago (I'm sure there was a thread) people had issues getting things from the site, long delays etc. Personally I have ordered and had no trouble a few years ago. It might be with calling or emaing to see how fast shipping is. Another UK option that I've seen people use but not used myself for reasonably priced henna etc is The Spiceworks, but I've not tried that one myself. Hope that helps.

Ahh, in that case I'm glad I asked :D I'm tempted to just get a box from amazon or ebay because they have a few different brands of 'pure' henna.
ETA - ok scratch that, ordered some from spiceworks because it's margnally cheaper and I can be more confident in its freshness :) Let's hope it arrives safely.

I do too, absolutely no complaints. And I recommend their Neem shampoo, it's great!

Just a quick post to say I hope no-one thought I meant that the site was no good, I've bought from him with no issues. But I do recall there being a problem maybe 2 years ago, not sure if the thread was here, or on the H4H site. I think it has been resolved, but would probably call first to check shipping times etc and pay though paypal for protection. As I said, I bought from him with no issues, and the product was great. I will however be interesed to hear about the Spiceworks henna as it is so well priced :)

Thanks for the input everyone - if for any strange reason the spiceworks henna doesn't work too well, I'll definately keep hennaboy in mind. I'd not heard of spiceworks before, and I'm hoping it's all good quality and works properly. I'll definately post on here when I've used the gloss :) It does say on their website that things are dispatched the same day if ordered before 11am, so I'm guessing it'll be here by wednesday-ish, hopefully before the weekend so that I can do a strand test on friday evening. I'm really quite excited!

Glad you got sorted. I use Henna Boy for my henna and cassia, and haven't had any problems to date - in fact I've always had the goods within two to three days of ordering. Checking out Spiceworks website and see they have some very good hints and tips on how to get the best from your henna experience.

I ordered from henna-boy for the first time recently. The delivery was fast (about 1 week I think, to Sweden) and the products where to my satisfaction :)
