Does anyone know if you can freeze your henna gloss for another application? I did one last night and came out good but i see that I missed a couple of spots and stuck the gloss I had left in the freezer to try to get the missed spots today. But haven't tried it yet wanted to check before sitting for 2 hours with frozen conditioner on my head lol Thanks :cheese:

Sure! I've frozen many a gloss made with conditioner, yogurt or cassia! With conditioner, it may come out a little 'curdled'...just add a touch of warm water and stir like mad!

Yes ma'am :) The only thing that might happen is that your conditioner or yogurt might come out separated, but hitting it with a hand mixer smoothes it out again.

Awesome! Thank you, sooooo happy right now, lol I didn't order a huge packet so I wouldn't of had enough to start over again but enough to add to if I need more. One other quick question if you don't mind. Does the hot iron and other heating elements have the same effect on gloss that it does on straight Henna?

Yes...it does. It will darken your henna. I found that the more I henna the less styling I need to do. I gave up heat styling for good over a year ago.

Yes. A henna gloss is essentially henna, just a lower dose. Re the darkening: I've been a hennahead for three months and I've continued to use my flat iron like I did before without any darkening. But then again, I have always used it at the very lowest temp setting which is almost cool enough to touch, and I just slide it through, not letting it stay there for ages which you can sometimes see stylists do. A curling iron on the other hand needs to stay in that long, so I'm not trusting that.

Thanks, I have tried the heat with the gloss and it has seemed to oxidize it a little but I am ok with that because my intentions were to deepen the orangy ends where my blonde hair took too bright and it seemed to work out well but it's not darkening drastically which is great. Maybe the straight henna would, not sure but great info girls, thank you :)
