Can anyone tell me which would be better for my hair
Distilled water rinse or a Citric Acid rinse?
Can you suggest a dilution for the CA if that's the way to go?
We live in rented and our water is tank water that has originally come from a bore, my hair seems to really be struggling with this water and I need to do something!
A shower filter is not going to happen so I need to find an alternative!

I don't know about the distilled water, but I use a weak CA rinse (1/4 tsp. CA to 1/2 gallon of water) and it's really made a big difference. We have hard well water with a high mineral content. I used to have to clarify constantly, but now I don't really need to more than once a month or even less.

This. I also thought "why not do a double whammy and mix the two together?"..

I'm too cheap to use half a gallon of distilled water for one rinse! :D I don't see why you couldn't do it, though.

Try them both (not at the same time ;)), and see which one you like better. Everyone's hair is different. Have fun experimenting!
