View Full Version : Pre-made conditioner base?

So I read that some of you had been buying and using bulk unscented conditioner base for co-washing and also conditioning... I am interested in trying this option as I'm really picky about scents. all natural, organic, good ingredients, NO CONES OR MINERAL OIL OR PARABENS, and both look to be nice and moisturizing. However it's a bit pricier than my budget allows for - so I was wondering if anyone that uses the bases could post your sources, preferably NO CONES please :)

I can recommend the base from Organic Creations. I used to alternate between cones and no-cones, and hers was one of my non-cone faves.....it is thick and like a cream.....a little goes a LONG way......it can actually be diluted and still works well......

Thanks for the feedback Dolly! :cheese: Was this the one for normal hair, or the extra rich one? And did you use it for co-wash, or conditioning?

When I ordered, she only had the one, which is the one for normal hair....she calls it her "daily use" conditioner......I would load it on undiluted for a deep conditioning treatment (glob it on and leave it for several hours), a few times I did use it for regular conditioning, and it worked very well (but I really need cones on a regular basis).....and when I did use it for CO, I diluted some in a smaller bottle. It is unscented and never caused any scalp or skin irritation.....and the lady who owns the store is great.....excellent customer service.....I have been ordering various products from her for about 6 or 7 years now!
