View Full Version : Finally managed a dutch braid!!!

Yeah! I can bun ok, but am clumsy when it comes to braiding. I can do english and french, but everything else (until today) escapes me. I have tried a dutch braid again this morning, and I managed to not mess it up (in terms of going french somewhere in the middle, it still 'looks' messy, hehe). So I am really proud of myself and had to share :cheese:. In fact I am so proud that I made my dutch braid pic my new avatar! Whohooo! Sorry, this might not be a big deal for a lot of the champion braiders on this board, but I am just so happy that I finally got it :p

Your french braid looks lovely, Maus! Isn't it great when everything "clicks"?!:cheese:
Now that you've mastered it, it can only lead to experimenting with other french braided styles. Congrats!

I just learned how to do dutch braids too! I'm wearing one in my hair now and loving it! Yours looks great-congrats :D

Congratulation! I still am having trouble with the dutch braid. I start out okay but I end up English braiding half of it! :p But I will, "try, try again" in my battle for a good Dutch braid. :luke:
