Hi everyone:)

I have been using BAQ2 henna from Pakistan on my hair since April 2010, purchased from Mehandi.com. I have only 140 grams left and soon I am gonna need to order more. The problem is that there is no more BAQ2 henna to order and I am trying to find something that gives similar results. I have got a tip, from Henna for Hair forum, that I can either use Sudina Henna or Ancient Sunrise Yemen Light, in order to get a similar result. Has any of you tried Yemen Light ? Has any of you who been using BAQ2 Henna ? If so which type are you going to use now? I am thinking of purchasing Yemen Light, but I would love to get some feedback, in case any of you have experience with it . :o

Not sure yet still deciding and running around with hairballs on my head. Never used before so I have been painstakingly exahusting all my options and still can't decide on which hue to start with, lol

I Believe but don't quote me I have to get all my options straight that on the phone at H4H they compared the one you were using to the Sudina because I didn't need to order in bulk for the first time I only need 220 to do my head not 500. But call them to verify. Because I also had asked what could be compared to Jamilla and PP in the dye content and also looked into the Henna for red hair and what that compared to since that's a package they put together wanted to know which one that was. But now as I go back to the site it seems they took alot off. Now totally confused. Might have to start the hairball tests all over again lol

I'm a total newbie, but I ordered and used this henna in a gloss yesterday and LOVE it!

I got the same answer per email from the customer service, that Sudina resembles most BAQ2. It is just that according to the description on the site, Sudina henna has pesticides and lead within EPA safe levels, while Yemen light is completely free of lead, contaminants, adulterants and pesticides. So I would really like to get Yemen light if it gives a similar color to BAQ2, because it sounds to me like it is overall of a better quality.
