Have you used avocado oil in your hair; did you like it? Did you need to mix it with anything for good results?
My favorite conditioner in the world has this oil pretty high in te ingredient list so I bought some to see if that's what my hair likes so much. That was how I found camellia oil so I am hopeful!

I love avocado oil! It's my favorite oil. I use it as a leave in or sometimes for scalp massages. I decided to order a bottle of it when I saw it at a health food store. I used Garnier Sleek and Shine conditioner, which has avocado oil in it, for like 7 years straight so it made me want to try it by itself. Keep it in the fridge though. It tends to go rancid fairly quickly. Buy it in small bottles too unless you know you're going to use it a lot.

My hair loves it. I'm giving coconut a try right now and avocado has been a challenge to find locally, but I love it.

I've never used the oil but I did put mushed up avacado in my hair once....big mess....crunchy hair...huge disaster. :( My hair did not like it at all so I never bothered to try the oil by itself.

It does nothing for my hair. My skin likes it though. Doesn't break me out.
As allnaturalboy said, goes rancid quickly. I will not repurchase.

I use it sometime but not very often. My favourites is olive and coconut oil.

It's one of my favourite, along with Camellia and Coconut. I find it very nurturing feeling. I don't mix it with anything - just apply a couple of drops on dry hair.

My hair loves it. Sometimes when I braid my hair I massage it into the ends and the braid and it's practically absorbed the next morning :) For me, it doesn't make my hair greasy either, so I just love it.

I like it and so does my hair. Although it does turn into a hair gel with certain conditioners( I CO only). I've had a problem with more of the natural conditioners and it combining to make a hair gel :-/ If I use something that isn't so natural then it washed right out....

My hair and skin love avocado oil. I add some (organic avocado oil) to my eye cream and to my face cream. Also, in my home-made-spray-on-leave-in-conditioner I have Camelia, Tea tree (E)), Palma Rosa (EO), and Aloe Vera gel mixed with Aubrey Organics conditioner and distilled water. It is better than any gel! It leaves my hair thick and lovely, and I have fine hair.

I have been using the avocado oil in my hair ... it seems to be pretty good for defrizzing without making my hair look stringy. I notice it's not so great for a heavy oiling because my gets kind of sticky and stiff if I use a LOT of it... but the usual light oiling among is fine.

I found a neglected bottle of avocado oil in a drawer last night and decided to try it out. I had planned on doing a heavy oiling last night anyway. Even when oiled my hair felt sleek and slippery and soft with the oil in it! Fabulous! And when I washed it all out this morning my hair felt so silky I didn't even want to pull it up for the day. This is absolutely a keeper :)

My hair loves avocados so I think it would really like avocado oil. I'll have to get some oil and try it out.

My hair likes this avocado oil less and less...it seems to form a dry, hard cast on skin or hair even if I use a small amount. Oh well at least it wasn't an expensive experiment! My hair has always liked apricot kernel oil so I'll probably go back to that.

I use avocado oil and castor oil for my OCM on my face.... I have very fine straight hair, kinda worried about putting any oils in my hair now.

I think that any oil will be different depending on who uses it; just give it a go and see!

I've been wanting to try SAO, camilia and avocado, plus I've been looking for grapeseed.

Lol, already know my hair loves grapeseed, but it takes to almost anything I want to put into it!
