Anyone make their own shampoo bars?

I've looked on the internet and have found the ingredients, but not measurements. I've found some recipes with measurements, but most require lye and the use of safety goggles and I'm not so sure I want to use anything that requires protective clothing or goggles to make.

Anyone make their own or is it easier to buy them?

I think all the shampoo bars are made using lye, so you might be out of luck if you don't want to do that; Which i totally understand because i looked into it before realizing it would be easier to just buy them lol. But someone else might have a different answer. :) Good Luck! I do remember finding a recipe for crockpot shampoo bars so try googling that; i don't remember what was in them.

Thanks. I just found www.iherb.com and they deliver to international addresses for only $4. Amazon charges an arm and a leg.
