My henna is fading?.... what gives?

Tonight when I went to wash my face I pinned up my bangs out of my face and when the ends were against the "new growth" (meaning it WAS natural color before henna, but the ends were several times over bleached if that makes sense)
Anyways there is a definite fading to the ends, could totally see the blonde pokin through :( its only been a week.. could it be the lighting. even tho it was the same light as always just dark outside?

Im really upset.. I loved the copper I was getting and still have where the bleach was grown out.. its mostly the canopy.. Maybe I just bought a crappy henna or It was to old?

Bleached hair is more porous and henna does not stick to it very well. Same thing happens to me, so when I do my roots, I always apply a bit on the ends to refresh the color. HTH.

Ok I will have to try that when I redo my roots in a few weeks :) luckily my up do's cover the two tones ;)....

I am in love with the color and trying to keep it up :)
