Order it on-line. Herbco/Monterey Bay Spice Co. is very reasonable and shipping just takes a couple days.

Starwest Botanicals (http://www.starwest-botanicals.com/product/1-senna-leaf-powder.html) is located in the Sacramento area -- if you ordered today, you'd probably receive it on Thursday.

(which reminds me, I need to check my stash at home.... I think I'm about due to reorder!)

Are there any health food stores in your area? Do they carry the Light Mountain brand (henna)? If the answer is yes, Light Mountain has neutral, which IS cassia.

thankies I'll try more health food stores today and ask for that brand... or I'll try to order it online... jeez why is it so hard to find Cassia. I think it's insane I can find illegal/dangerous drugs easier than a type of henna ahhhhhh! LOL

Most of the health food store "blonde hennas" (and the same at Sally Beauty supply) are cassia or senna, mainly. They often have other herbs added like marigold and whatnot. They should do the trick for you.

If there's a Whole Foods near you, they have the Light Mountain.

But you'll get a better price at Herbco/Monterey spice. That's where I get my henna and stuff.
