:) Ive never bought castor oil but its the next oil, I will start experimenting with.
I want good quality castor oil. Im a bit confused though, what does cold pressed mean?
And on ebay, people are selling castor oil for cheap prices and they claim it is the real thing. Is it true?

Cold pressed means low heat was used to make it, which means there is low danger of heat destroying any useful properties of the plant it's made from. What is Cold Pressed Oil? (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-cold-pressed-oil.htm)
I can't personally guarantee that random sellers on ebay are giving out the real thing, but if I were you I'd look for a credible seller. I'm not sure which ones are reputable in the UK, but I'm sure someone else on LHC will be able to help you out with that, although my best guess would be amazon.

If you just want to experiment some you might want to go to your drugstore (Chemist? Pharmacy?). Many sell food grade castor oil. You may pay a bit more per ounce but it will be a good way to decide if you like it. Different stores will have it in different places but I see it mostly in the nutritional supplements area. Ask if you can't find it.

That's ^ exactly what I did. It costs more per ounce from the pharmacy, but it's a small bottle (4 ounces, IIRC) and cost only a few dollars total, had it right away, and didn't need to pay for shipping.
When I discovered how much my hair and skin liked castor oil, I bought it for much less per ounce, in huge bottles, on Amazon.com.
One bonus: I reuse the small opaque dark blue bottle form the pharmacy to keep small amounts of it in my bathroom, and I can keep the huge bottle on the bottom of my kitchen pantry - where there's more room for it without cluttering up my reasonably small bathroom even more than necessary.

It has more sulphur in it from roasting the beans before pressing the oil. I would start out with the regular stuff and see what you think before going with the Jamaican.
