Anyone do this to help with the itchies? Hendigo seems to dry out my scalp and I itch for up to a week after applying- it drives me NUTS!!:( So I was wondering if doing an all-over scalp oil treatment might help, and if so, how long do I wait after doing the hendigo before oiling? Also, what type of oil? I have jojoba and sweet almond oil, and also a decent size chunk of pure shea butter.

Also, is there any type of conditioner that works better for removing the hendigo? I've been using VO5. It almost seems like my scalp "sucks in" the grit and then releases it over the next few washings- I can never seem to get it out the first initial wash. It's getting to where I dread doing a root touch-up because of the maddening itch afterwards, and the brown gunk under my fingernails when I do scratch my scalp....

I usually apply a whole lot of conditioner right after hennaing, largely to the scalp to hopefully ease the itchiness, but it seems bound to itch anyway. Seems if I mush the conditioner on the scalp a few minutes before rinsing it helps to some extent, but still doesn't solve the problem adequately; I just haven't identified a better means to address it.
