View Full Version : Rinse leftovers as hairmask? + New oil experiment :)

Soo I've been making rinses for the past couple of weeks out of cut up/crushed rosemary and emptied out black & green teabags.

Whenever I strain the mixure, there is a lot of the tea and rosemary left over and I'm wondering how beneficial this would be as a hairmask every now and then?
Like if I mixed it in with a crushed avocado/experimented with other hair maskey-ideas.

Anyone ever tried this or something similar? Results?
Idk whether or not because I've boiled the rosemary and tea and whatnot if all the nutrients have been soaked into my rinse, thus making the leftovers useless or if it's just impossible to use all the nutrients in a rinse, in which case the leftovers seem to go a little to waste.

Also, bought myself some avocado + olive oil today whilst browsing to find new and interesting oils. I shall have to report back once I've washed my hair again on the results.
Yes, avocado has been on my list of things to try out for quite a while :p
