Hello everyone!
It has been a long time since i posted here,
i think i got used to my hair routine and with that i started to come here as often, and that made me care a bit less about my hair, although it is in a good shape i think.
I have reached waist by the way!! YAYY :D

Well last May i had an upper and lower jaw operation and my face is not the same, hard time for me to ajust.. so thats another reason why i didnt give much thought about my hair.

My natural hair colour is a medium/dark sandy blonde with natural highlights from the sun specially on the ends (my roots are darker) and as it was getting longer i kind of was getting bored about it, so i cut my fringe and that gave me something new but that wasnt enought :P

So about two months ago i ordered some henna and cassia to try an henna/cassia gloss. I did it twice with very little henna (half tbs) with 3 tbs of cassia left for about half an hour, in those two times it gave me just a little bit of golden glow that i liked but you know..when you get enthusiastic about something you always want more! So i decided to try a third time with a full tbs of henna 2 of cassia left for one hour and a half. Well, the thing is... my hair is now darker but that is not the problem.. it seams that now my hair has a colour that is not a colour, it is a fading colour if you know what i mean. Do you know when you colour your hair and it starts to fade and goes weird ?? That has been a problem for me in these last two weeks...

So for those who made a gloss ..
Does it go away completely ? Cause if it does i may be willing to wait for it so i can have my natural colour back again

Another option for me is to go red! Yes! I have been having this thought for so long that i just dont know what to do with it... i know that henna is permanent and that freaks me out a bit, but anyway i think that red would look good on me but im not sure and that is a bit of a risk..but anyway there are any dark blondes as me to show me your fantastic henna heads i would appreciate it so much!!! ... ??? Please :)

As i see it my skin colour go well with my sandy hair colour but if i want any red on my hair it cant be this "kindof" golden...it would have to be a strong red to contrast with my pale skin... golden just makes me go blah

Im sorry for the long post, im just having some troubles thinking straight about this and i would really like to find a solution.. I dont freak out as i used to with hair related problems and that is a great thing for me, but i would really like to continue to have a long loving relationship with my hair

So here it is a picture so you can see what i am talking about..this kind of shows only one side of the colour but sometimes it really looks bad. The golden with my pale skin (that goes a bit to the pinkish side) doesnt make me happy

You could try a straight up henna gloss. I have a recipe for one for blonde hair on my hair page, linked in my sig under "Shell's Page." I have golden/reddish blonde hair naturally, and the gloss brings out my red highlights and increases the strawberry blondness. The cassia might be giving you the golden color that you don't like. I don't use cassia myself--just henna. Try a gloss, then you can gloss weekly until you get to the color that you want. Most people find henna glosses to be permanent, so be aware of that before you start. You might want to strand test first. Best of luck.
