I noticed that my watchband holds onto scents from EO's much much longer than my skin does. Then I started thinking about my leather hairtoys. Has anyone tried scenting their hairtoys?

Oooh, Me, me! I tried it and loved it.
I have a really neat thing that looks like a celtic knot of some kind, made out of a thick cord of leather. The leather was finished on one side and the rest has the suede look to it. It goes into the hair with a stick that slides through the knot, under the hair, and out the other side of the knot.
I didn't like the look of the part shiny, part suede-y leather, so I tried to oil it and decided to use some orange oil. It worked pretty well and smells heavenly! My hair smelled really nice the night after I wore it, too!
I say, go for it!

I'm going to (but I'm going to try with an older slide that doesn't matter so much!)
That celtic knot sounds really cool!

Yes, I have. I have a cotton sock for sock bunning, and I scent the heck out of it. I sometimes spray it with peppermint extract or a floral hydrosol with added EO's.
