I got a really bad sunburn the other day, and I was in the kitchen earlier experimenting and came up with this. I put it on the burnt areas and some on my scalp since it was itchy and hot from being out in the sun today and it felt wonderful so I thought I'd share.
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
6 drops peppermint EO
4 drops eucalyptus EO
3 drops lavender EO
2 drops tea tree oil EO
You can adjust the oils according to what you like/what works well for you, I used a bit less than I otherwise would have since this was my first time working with peppermint and eucalyptus, because I was afraid of overdoing it. I just melted down the coconut oil, put it in a tupperware, shook it up to mix the aloe in (it doesn't combine that well but once you shake it up and it solidifies again its not that big a problem) then added the EOs and popped it in the frigde until it had solidified and was cool. I keep mine in there since cool oil and alone on a burn feel very nice indeed. Let me know how you like it :)
