OMG, you and CH just reminded me. My first jaw-dropped in awe hair idol was also on the LHL, and was also Martine. Her pic in the photo album of her wearing blue jeans. That blew me away!

I just went and looked at it again. It's a gorgeous pic of gorgeous hair. Wow.

Avrilon on there also knocked my socks off. I think I fell in love with all the blonde heads because they were so different.

Teluriel, Dianyla, Nightshade, Heidi W., Emichee, HeavenlyTresses to mention just a few of my first discoveries. Amazing, amazing heads, I was dizzy when I first explored this place. It took months of lurking to find the courage to sign up here. I still feel like an impostor....

Jessie58's pictures encouraged me. I admired her new growth so much, it seemed surreal to me. Madeleine's elegance and beauty. CinnamonHair's photos of her toys - a glimpse of paradise, and her beautiful updos.

AprilElf, Ysmalan, Eresh come to mind, too. And Kimberlily. So many beautiful gifts of nature.

My first hair idol here was Elle and I too wanted to steal her kitties! :)

I have many 'hair idols' or others' hair that I'm envious of, but I dare not state who they are incase anyone thought it inapropriate!
But I can safely say, that since joining LHC you have all made a possitive difference to my world, and I thank you all for that and hope it may continue!

And, for sheer "I am speechless and in awe", I have to mention Lady Godiva, Catia, Dave Decker.

My very first LHC idols were Elle, Eresh, and Amoretti, I think. Well, pretty much all of the classic+ people with dark wavies... since that's what I will (if genetics allow) be, one day, and they were awesome inspiration.

Mine was some guy with reddish blong hair. There was a photo shoot with him standing in a 'castle?' window with his hair blowing out and down past his knees. I thought, if a guy can get his hair that long so can I. So I saved the photo and when I started thinking about cutting I would look at it and get some inspiration. There was also a photo of a woman with knee length red hair wearing a cape along a wooded path. Sadly, I lost that hard drive and lost those 2 pictures I used to keep me inspired to keep growing.

Nightshade for sure! Her hair is amazing and the fact that she's in her twenties and dealing with the same types of pressures from society as I am. And the color of her hair is luscious!

Igor was my first Idol. Watching her hair grow from bald to where she is now, is quite an achievement.

But to mention a few, I think Morticia and Indigo girl have similar hair to mine, so I hope one day mine will shine like that. I also absolutely love Sam-Am-Is hair, the curls are lovely and I absolutely adore the color! Redheads have such wonderful complexion.

I remember about 2 years ago (give or take) Pegs made the gut-wrenching decision to cut off her damaged length and start fresh. If it weren't for her I might still have 4 inches of black dye in my hair. Thank you Pegasus Marsters. You're my hair hero.

I am not if I remember correctly, but I think mine was Snowymoon. It was still on the old boards, and she had waist-length or longer brown-red curly hair. And her avatar picture was a (beware of the) bunny ...

The picture of Beatnik Guy at the railroad tracks really grabbed me. Fabulous hair and fabulous pic!

Aw aw awwwww! ^.^ Thank you. You're so sweet! Actually it was only a year ago that I made that decision and my hair is much healthier and shinier now. I still use chemical dye, but I do not bleach. Bleach is what wrecked my hair in the first place.

Our hair is not at all alike, but I was just in awe of how long and shiny it was!

I remember being utterly in awe of Lois- her hair was almost the exact opposite of mine!

My LHC hair idol's are Nightshade and Dianyla.

Not just because of their hair though. Although, when I first started lurking in Nov06, their hair was my idol motivator. Now, it has grown to include the fact that they never cease to amaze me in how much they know and how varying and broad the spectrum of their knowledge and experience is.

I admire many more people on TLHC of course, but these two were the first. :)

Dianyla: when I saw her braids I set my goal on the same lenght of braids.
The siggy I admire the most nowadays is CinnamonHair's: I want to do the same with my hair (if I reach that far).

I second the motion! Those are the first two long-hairs that come to mind... I like Dianyla's hair the best--it looks well cared for and shiney. Plus--she gives great advice!

Definitely Snowymoon was the very first followed later on by Amoretti and Shell for length and wavy look. For colour though I have always ranked Kissedbyfyre and Hypnotica at the top.

My very first idols here were mitabird, snowymoon, and darkwaves. But over the last year or so my list has expanded greatly.
I love (in no particular order)

-Amoretti's perfect strands
-Ladystar's, and Emichiee's silky dark hair.
-I've admired several people's curls like my dear friends jessie58, harley mama, bloop, momma smurf, Tomm, meezer and bowie.
-Frannyg and Bella77's stunning blonde silk
-Igor's thick hair
-long silvery manes like TammySue's and those that have those silvery stripes (I'm sure I will think of you all for inspiration when I start getting silvers)
-NightShade, Arctic, and Kimberlily's red hair
-Searmecarefully, Sam-I-Am, redcelticcurls and mugglemomof3's red curls
-Jason and Little Bird's thick hemline
-Lorig713's very long and thick healthy waves

the list goes on and on.

I've just been inspired by so many heads of gorgeous hair here. I love the variety of beautiful textures and shades, especially if the hair is well cared for.

My very first hair idol was Anne~. Then I quickly grew to adore the hair of Amoretti, Remke, Emichiee, wonderlywroughte, Beatnik Guy, and Dulci. I could probably be listing people all day; there is so much lovely hair here.
