Metal slide with wood stick. The metal looks a bit golden in the picture, but it's silver coloured. There are some scratches on the wood stick, in the area that is underneath the hair when it's in use. Price: 3 Euro.

Here's another picture of the slide, this time in action, holding a French braid folded (apart from the elastic, it's the only thing holding my hair).
Again, this picture makes it look a bit golden (I think it's the flash), but it is silver.
