I was inspired by the thread about coconut oil :D.
Today I was shopping online and discovered the only hair-healthy oil at my local supermarket (besides olive oil) is grapeseed oil.
Well since I ran out of coconut oil, I figure I'll take advantage and try something new.

How do you use yours?
I was thinking I would use it as a leave-in or on my damp ends if I braid after a shower. Do any of you use it like that?
Is it light or kind of heavy?
My hair is way dysfunctional, really dry without oil, really oily if I put even a little too much.
TIA for all replies :)

I tried grapeseed oil on my hair and it made it too oily, even in tiny amounts on the ends. But everyone's hair is different, obviously. I do use it on my face and entire body though after a shower, it won out over shea butter and camellia oil for my skin!

I put it in my OCM mix and my body oil mixture. I've used it on my hair too. It seemed similar to EVOO or sweet almond oil to me.

Ooh it won out over shea butter for your face?
I'll have to try. Where do you use it (under eyes, nose, cheeks, etc?)

I was using it mixed with a little aloe gel on my hair after washing (as a leave in). I found it a very light oil, which was good for my fine hair.

I use it for my face and neck. I mix up batches with a little bit of lavender EO in it and put it in a pump bottle. Sometimes I put it on my body as well. I do find it quite light and absorb more quickly than, say, coconut oil.
