How do you wear them? They seem too wide to be able to contain hair securely....

Hey katharine and redbark! They seem to work best on fairly thick, specifically curly hair. I know that someone else had posted this and I noticed that on a former thread that the only gals who could tollerate the thing had such hair. If it's any consolation...when I take it out, although I love the look during the day...my hair feels like it's been pulled as though it's been on the rack! So..I wear it only for brief periods. HTH clear things up. :)

I buy mine at Wal Mart & K Mart. Not much variety in the way of colors... but then, my hair always totally covers them up when I wear them anyway so colors don't matter to me. :p
