Are we humble folks able to do such a thing yet? I looked but did not see any options.

I didn't know this at the time when I customized mine, but it appears to be a mod/admin function only at this point. There are various levels in membership being worked on, so eventually this might be changed.

We have similar taste! I changed my magenta to green, though, since I added an image.

To add an image, upload it to your photoalbum, then copy that url, and paste it into the image field in your profile page.

No, it doesn't have to be since these new boards have come back up.

Go to your user cp and in the left column you'll see customize profile. Click there and you should get a customize page to make the changes.

For those of you that managed to get a picture as the main background in your profile, would you mind explaining how you did it? According to the top of the page I have to post a picture in my album and then use that as the background. I tried that, copied the url of the picture from the album and pasted in into "image" under "Main" in the edit profile. I tried it several times with several different pictures of all different sizes and it always told me that the picture I was trying wasn't valid.

At the moment I can't even upload pictures to my album, but when that starts working again I'd like to add a real background. I know some of you got it to work.

That's exactly how I did it. However, the picture has to be in an album set to "profile". Did you do that?

Like Snowbear said, the pics that you want to use in your profile for background pics HAVE to be in an album that is a profile album. You will see that option when you create albums.

Ahhhhh, I see! Thanks guys! Will anyone actually see this profile album if all it will be used for is background images? Or is it seen only by me? (just wondering, but I haven't seen any "profile" albums from anyone else).

Yes, it would be neat, if I could upload a suitable picture :silly: Using one of my length pics, the only thing I have in an album here, makes a pretty busy background.
