Kiehl's is a good brand - it is currently owned by L'Oreal - although L'oreal got into some trouble last year with their advertising.

Yes I have it and like it. I've used it for several years. I use it as a leave in or as a light everyday conditioner and I've used it in SMTs.

You have the ingredients on the bottle - so you can check them out on the net - what are you concerned about specifically?

I used to use cream of silk groom but now that my hair is in better shape without the chemical dyes, it makes me greasy ;)

You can search this database, but they only list Kiehl's body wash.

ETA: if you scroll down on the body wash page, you can get an idea of which ingredients might be culprits and which are okay for you.
I've never tried their stuff, but it seems like many people have had success with it.
