I was just reading reviews for this on Amazon and several people said it stopped shedding. Do any of you use this product? What are your experiences with it? What kind of results in general do you find with it on non-Indian hair? Mine is fine and wavy and fluffy, not like the amazing black heavy silk of most Indians' hair. :)

I have it standing on the shelve and I'm afraid to try it due to the mineral oil. What a waste!

Same here! Which is why I was trying to find some reason to use it. ;)

I use it. Mineral oil and all. I apply it to my hair when it's damp. My hair dries soft and silky. I don't rub it on my scalp, so I don't think it will harm my hair.

For me it doesn't do as much for me as coconut oil and it has an odd smell.

I used it all through year 11 and 12 in high school.
It made my hair SOOOOOO soft, and incredbly shiny - but it was dyed pitch black, which aided the shine.
My sister who was medium brown tried it, and although the benefits softness-wise were the same, it just made her hair look greasy.
Next time I go to Fremantle I might buy myself a bottle - it worked fantastically for me.

It might lock the moisture out and it's hard to remove without harsher chemicals (which is bad for SLS shampoo avoiders like me).
