i purchased a aloe vera plant which has been hanging in the shop for 20 or more days .is there any use if i use gel from that plant for hair or should it be in soil itself and i should use within 3 hrs of cutting leaf?

what i use has been unrooted 30 days before now i keep it in my room and use it daily a little by cutting the leaf small amount daily

I'm not sure about fresh from the plant but I've mixed aloe vera juice with regular hair gel and used that as a leave in. It was very moisturizing.

hello pls anyone reply

what i do is buy a aloe plant which has been taken harvested (rooted out from soil) and they will be hanged in front of shops for 20 -30 days in normal temperature in india does it provide any benefit if the whole plant is just harvested and kept at room temperature in room without soil just like keeping in shelf (uprooted) condition

Hmm. I'm not sure if there is a difference. I think most of us that use fresh aloe, just take a leaf from a plant that is still rooted.

There is a question if the juice from the aloe is still good after that long, though? It wouldn't hurt your hair, I would think.

Couldn't you just root the plant and grow it in your room so you can always have fresh aloe?
