Would it strip the colour or turn me swampy green or something? I'd like to because I love what cassia does for my hair, but I don't want my colour to be wrecked!

Noo nothing will happen it will make your hair feel softer;). I did it on my ammas hair and everything turned out great!
ETA: It will look green when you have the mud on though:lol:

The odds of it turning your hair green are VERY slim if you get good pure cassia.
Chemical reds wash out like all hell, though, and it wouldn't surprise me if a good soak in cassia, plus rinsing out the grit didn't fade your color a little.

I can comment on whether cassia would pull some of your red dye out, no experience with that. I'd definitely suggest testing it on a hair ball or a hidden section of hair.
When I first joined LHC last year my hair was chemically dyed light blond and I use to do cassia every few weeks, no green color. I have used both the cassia from H4H and the medicinal stuff from herbco.com.

Cassia never pulled any of my blue-black Garnier dye out. However reds do fade faster I guess.
Maybe try a hairball as mentioned above and see how that goes, but I wouldnt have thought you'd have any problems really.
