Hey, all. I've been search-functioning and search-functioning my fingers to the bone and just can't find an answer to this specific question.
I amla'd my hair to tone down the red a bit. It looks great. What I'm wondering is, does the tint of slight brown-ish-ness from amla stay permanently, like henna, or do you have to re-do it periodically?
Thanks for any help, guys 'n gals.

You have to keep redoing it,as amla is not a dye like henna:)

One time I slow cooked amla in a cast iron skillet to get it black. I slathered it on my head and left it on overnight. I did notice a slight tinge on my platinum blonde baby hairs in the very front of my hair line. But the tinge had more staying power on my cuticles than anything. Lol. Made my hair dried out and tangle like nothing I'd ever seen before. But like I said, I left it on overnight.

Thanks for the link, Ktani!
Blackfoothair, I felt a little tangly the first day too. But after a COing it's all okay.
