I've noticed that every time after I have been swimming in a tea tree lake that my hair is really nicely condishened (of course after swimming I rinse my hair, but the oils stay in). Does anyone use tea tree oil for their hair?

I use tea tree oil for my skin, and its amazing with the acne. I think that anything that is good for ur skin is also good for your hair and nails since they are considered a part of it. I know that tea tree oil is good for the scalp, so that explains alot. If your scalp is healthy, it will reflect on your hair too.

Sigh. Just another reason on my gigantic list of reasons to visit Australia.

It sounds wonderful!

Oh, and good for the hair too. I use tea tree oil in my CO wash mix as it keeps my scalp from getting nasty. I couldn't tell you if it helped with the conditioning or not, but I've tried washing without it in the mix and I much prefer the feel of my scalp and roots with it included.

I use about a half mL to 7 or 8 oz conditioner.

Sometimes my scalp gets flaky, not as often as before I started with co, but still, sometimes. Then I do an eggwash with tt, and the flakes go away! Tt makes my scalp feel really good, but I donīt think Iīve noticed any differens on the length.
Mixing tt with conditioner sounds like a great idea. I have to try!

Wow, that sounds unbelievably lovely! Like something out of a fairy tale...

*sigh*

I especially like tea tree oil on my scalp...feels very tingly and wonderful. It's also really good for treating acne.

The Tea Tree Lake sounds... there are no words for it!

I use a tea tree oil shampoo and condish once a week or so and it makes my hair feel really very light and soft. I find I still have to oil the ends but that's just because mine are fried :o

I've also used tea tree oil for my face when I've had bad breakouts and also for my body when there was a scabies outbreak at a place I worked at. Magical stuff.
