2nd Henna results

Hi everyone!

This is my first ME thread. I guess I didn't make an introductory post when I joined in September.

I have henna-ed my hair twice so far, with Punjabi Prime henna. These are the results.
My new living situation really inhibits a good angle for self-taking pictures. and I wouldn't want to have to ask someone else to take it for me.

Also, my hair is very wavy, but I'm not quite sure what type I am. Can someone type me?
Air dried, though has been a few days since my last wash, I've had it in a bun for the past two days. It's pretty much what it looks like naturally. Though it does get really frizzy when its super dry. In fact, my hair was ALWAYS frizzy when I was using chemical dyes and straightening irons. then I stopped and my hair is great!

it took me about 25 tries with the camera until I settled with this picture. My room sucks for hair progress photos!

This is a BAD hair day, for reference. This was right before my 2nd henna, I had waited around 2 months since my last henna. Also, this picture is a more accurate image of my length. It is hard to tell in pictures sometimes because i have so many old layers.
Also, this is right after washing, dried naturally, so you can see the natural typing. I'm so confused, so many cowlicky-weird waves, some straight dryness, some fairytale ends.

:puppy: oh boy......... love the color, shine and your hair texture ... I too m wavy 2b but my hair is black and i can never get that color using henna unless my hair turns white... :cheese::cheese::cheese:

Beautiful hair! I agree w/Spidermom, your hair appears to be between 1C or 2A. I have more defined waves and I'm a 2B, mostly. Congratulations on your successful henna. :) I'm a recent convert and am very happy with it so will be doing a second one in a month or so.

To all that suggested I am either a 1c or a 2a, I am astounded! Before I started henna-ing, my hair was a 2c. In fact, I was born a 3a, with natural Shirley Temple curls all over my head. Then after I was about 4 or 5, my hair became 2c and stayed that way until a couple years ago. Perhaps the henna has straightened my hair? I still get the crazy weird cowlick wurls (usually only if I sleep with loose wet hair or if I let my hair dry in a bun or something. my hair is very finicky when it comes to drying it)
I think I should now officially change my stats to 2a, what do you all think?

venividibxtchy- My natural hair color is a very light translucent brown (its odd, even though its translucent, it is nowhere near fine!) though I dyed my hair with chemical dyes for years, there was still a lot of black in my hair before I dyed it. Here is a pic of my hair color before henna (and LHC, so that is why it is flat ironed!)

I should mention that this picture is quite candid, so excuse the expression, I don't normally look like that! But notice the light roots and the dark length.

Thanks so much to all of your for your nice comments! I love when I get hair compliments. I'm glad I have LHC this time around, because when I had my hair to my tailbone years ago, I didn't get much encouragement!

Periwinkle- thanks! I love my tattoo. it is a celtic tree of life. I love trees and want to get many more tattoos, more trees!
